SUMMARY:Sign up for a Free Swim Lesson at Stewie the Duck Swim School

Swim lessons start Monday\, June 5th \n\n\nStewie the Duck Swim School is hosting FREE open houses at the swim school on June 3rd and 4th from 12 – 4pm so children can come check it out\, meet their instructors\, and get some Stewie the Duck goodies. \n \nAbout Stewie the Duck Swim School Founded by Kim and Stew Leonard\nWhen we lost our son Stewie in a drowning accident in 1989\, we decided to do everything we could to prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy. We started the Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation\, leading us to write two books and raise $6 million for water safety awareness. Our dream has always been to open a swim school. Drowning is a leading cause of death for children four and under\, but those who receive swim lessons are 88% less likely to drown. If our son knew how to float and roll over onto his back\, he might still be with us today. \n\n\nOur mission at the Stewie the Duck Swim School is to save lives\, one lesson at a time. All the profits from the Swim School will go back to funding free or low-cost swim lessons for children in need. Our goal is to fund at least 20\,000 free swimming lessons every year! \n\n\nGo HERE to reserve your spot at one of their open houses. \nTo register for swim lessons\, visit our newly designed website. Just click “Parent Portal” or “Register Here” to start the process. Not sure which level to place your child? Take the Assessment Quiz HERE. Get your first lesson FREE when you use the promo code “WELCOME!. Sign up today! We can’t wait to see you at the pool!

SUMMARY:Fairy Tale Scavenger Hunt at Hay Burr Inn Equine Rescue & Sanctuary
DESCRIPTION:On April 30th from 1 to 4 pm\, step into a fairy tale and meet the rescued equines at Hay Burr Inn Equine Rescue and Sanctuary. The horses will be waiting outside to meet you as you follow the half-mile dirt path trail. Along the way\, keep an eye out for hidden fairies\, unicorns\, and dragons. Please wear appropriate footwear\, as there is a slight hill at the beginning of the trail. \n \nHay Burr Inn Equine Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization\, and this event is a donation-based fundraiser to support the care and upkeep of the horses and donkey. No tickets are necessary for entry\, and your donations are greatly appreciated. They will help us continue to rescue equines and provide them with a second chance to enjoy life. \nPlease note that these older\, injured\, or retired horses were either owner surrenders or rescued from the kill pen\, so they are not riding horses. However\, they are incredibly friendly and love attention. \nIf you have any questions about the event\, please refer to the information provided here\, or call or text 860-932-2092. Please be patient with our volunteers\, as they may not be able to answer or reply on the same day due to their busy preparations for the event. \nWhen visiting the sanctuary\, please wear appropriate shoes or boots\, as sandals\, flip flops\, or heels are not permitted. Smoking\, vaping\, and alcohol are also not allowed on the property. For cross-contamination concerns\, we kindly ask that you leave your animals at home. Please wait patiently for the red gate to open for entrance to the event\, as it is there to ensure the horses’ safety on the property. \nThank you for understanding and helping us maintain a safe environment for both humans and animals. We can’t wait to see you at the event!
