SUMMARY:The Annual Woodies at Mystic Seaport Meet
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Woodies at Mystic Seaport Meet will be held on Saturday July 22\, in conjunction with the 6th Annual National Woodie Club Meet. Fifty or more Woodies of different makes and vintages are expected to be on display on the green throughout the day. \nBetween 3:00-3:30pm the Woodies will parade around and off the grounds. Visitors enjoy seeing the cars in motion and hearing some of the unique horns as they depart. \nThe display area will have both National Woodie Club and Yankee Wood Chapter (New England) tents with members that can help with useful information and club merchandise. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for the Favorite Woodie Award. \nHave a vehicle you would like to include in the display? DESCRIPTION:Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is hosting the Zoo’s traditional summer children’s program\, Zoo Patrol in July and August. Six weeklong sessions are planned\, covering dates from July 3 through August 11. There are three sessions for children ages 7-11\, and three sessions for children ages 11-13. \nZoo Patrol runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, with drop-off from 8:50-9:10 and pick-up at 12:30 p.m. The cost of the weeklong program is $225 for Zoo members\, and $250 for non-members. \nSummer Sessions: \nWeek 1 July 3-7: Ages 11-13\nWeek 2 July 10-14: Ages 7-11\nWeek 3 July 17-21: Ages 11-13\nWeek 4 July 24-28: Ages 7-11\nWeek 5 July 31-4: Ages 11-13\nWeek 6 August 7-11: Ages 7-11 \nEach day\, children will explore a different area of the zoo and have a custom guided experience. They’ll explore how the animals are cared for through presentations and projects on enrichment\, training\, diet\, habitat care\, and more. \nAll children must be signed in and out by an adult at the Research Station. From beloved local cover bands to national acts there’s a sound for everyone this summer at 185 Enterprise Drive\, Bristol\, CT 06010. \nConcerts are held July through September 3rd. \n \nConcerts are FREE with a valid admission to the park. All concerts are included in a 2023 Silver\, Gold\, and Platinum Season Pass. If you wish to attend a certain concert\, you may also purchase a Single Day ticket for that date.  All concerts are included with 2023 Silver\, Gold\, or Platinum Season Passes. \nChairs will be available on select concert dates on a first come\, first serve basis. Once taken\, there will be standing room only. \nSelect concerts that take place between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.\, Crocodile Cove Operating hours\, will allow access to the designated swimming area in the lake.
