DESCRIPTION:Connecticut is going to have a view of the Solar Eclipse on Monday\, April 8th! Come early to grab lunch at Lyman Orchards\, play yard games and make your own eclipse chalk art! The first 70 people (starting at 1pm) will receive Free eclipse glasses with any purchase made at the Apple Barrel Farm Market\, or you can also BYO glasses. \n*There will also be a limited supply of additional glasses for purchase.* \nLyman Orchards will have a special Eclipse Cookie Decorating Kit available for purchase! Yard games will be outside on the Apple Barrel Patio. \nThe event is held from 1-5pm at the Apple Barrel Farm Market: 32 Reeds Gap Road\, Middlefield\, CT. \nThe solar eclipse begins in Connecticut at 2:13pm with peak at 3:27pm and ends around 4:37pm. Only a partial eclipse will be seen in CT\, but the experience can still be enjoyed by all! \nA Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun\, thereby obscuring the view of the Sun from a small part of the Earth. \nImportant! Looking at the solar eclipse without the proper eye covering can cause serious\, permanent damage. Eclipse glasses are NOT regular sunglasses. Please BYO eclipse glasses in case we run out! The 14th Annual Dino Easter Egg Hunt is back at The Dinosaur Place in Montville\, Connecticut. \nFind Your Age Group: We have 4 hunts spread throughout the park\, each for specific age ranges: \n• Under 2 years old\n• 2-4 years old\n• 5-7 years old\n• 8+ years old \nGroup Times: \n5-7 years old: 10 am\n2-4 years old: 10:15 am\n8+ years old: 10:30 am\nUnder 2 years old: 10:45 am \nRegister Together: If you have kids in different age groups\, register them to the eldest group. For example\, a 4-year-old cannot join the under-2 group\, but an under-2-year-old can join the 2-4 group. \nDinosaur eggs of all sizes are waiting to be discovered in this prehistoric twist on the traditional egg hunt\, with guaranteed prizes for all participants.
