SUMMARY:World Ballet Series: Nutcracker at the Palace Theater Waterbury
DESCRIPTION:The World Ballet Series: Nutcracker at the Palace Theater will be held on Friday\, November 25\, 2022 at 7 pm in Waterbury\, Connecticut. Before there was Toy Story\, there was The Nutcracker. Masha\, one of ballet’s pluckiest heroines\, journeys to a land where toys come to life. Tchaikovsky’s lustrous music and the magnificent choreography of Marius Petipa have made this beloved story a must-see for children of all ages. \nDOORS: 6:00 pm | SHOW: 7:00 pm – 9:00 with an intermission \nThe children of Counselor Stahlbaum\, Masha and Fritz\, ask their father to buy them the wonderful dolls displayed in the window of the toy shop. He does not agree\, but secretly negotiates with his friend Drosselmeier to send dolls to the children for Christmas. The Master sends gifts and prepares a surprise — a small doll for cracking nuts — the Nutcracker.
