DESCRIPTION:Experience the magic of live music on the longest day of the year\, June 21st\, with the Annual Make Music Day  – an incredible\, city-wide celebration featuring free concerts held on streets\, sidewalks\, and parks across Connecticut. \nJoin in the festivities as various cities in the state\, including Danbury\, Fairfield\, Hartford\, Hebron\, Middletown\, New Canaan\, New Haven\, Norwalk\, Ridgefield\, Southbury\, Stamford\, Stratford\, and Waterbury\, host their own Make Music events. \n \nDuring this extraordinary day\, sidewalks\, parks\, front porches\, and public spaces throughout the cities will transform into stages for local musicians to showcase their talent and for everyone to revel in the joy of music. Whether you’re a performer\, a provider of an outdoor space\, an appreciator of music\, or interested in volunteering\, you are invited to be part of this international celebration of music. \nUnlike traditional music festivals\, Make Music is open to all who wish to participate. Musicians of all ages and skill levels\, from amateurs to professionals\, spanning various musical genres\, will come together to share their love of music with friends\, neighbors\, and strangers alike. It’s a unique opportunity to celebrate the power of music and showcase the incredible talent that exists within our communities. \nPlease note that Make Music Day is a free event for everyone to enjoy.
