Get on board to the North Pole where Santa is waiting to greet you with sing-a-longs, sugar cookies, hot coca and gifts. The Essex Steam Train’s “North Pole Express” is ready to leave the station November 14th – December 23, 2024 and you need get your ticket before they sell out. This is a super popular holiday event (there are still some tickets available for Nov. 14th, 2024).

The train ride last an hour and a half. Rides depart the station multiple times per day (check the website for full schedule). Children under the age of 1 sitting on a parent’s lap do not require a ticket.

Each child will receive a small gift from Santa and children are invited to wear their favorite pajamas! Make sure those PJs are warm and cozy…it’s cold up at the North Pole!

All tickets are first come, first served and can only be purchased online. All sales are final.

All passengers age 1 and older must purchase a ticket. Children less than 1 year of age may sit on an adults lap at no charge however they may not occupy a seat. If you would like a seat for a child under the age of 1, a ticket must be purchased for them. No car seats or strollers are permitted on the train.
