DESCRIPTION:The Meriden Daffodil Festival at Hubbard Park is just around the corner on May 4th and 5th\, 2024! This annual event is a fantastic family outing. Whether you’re looking for thrilling rides\, delicious and unique foods\, a juried craft fair\, you’ll find it all amidst a stunning backdrop of 600\,000 vibrant daffodils. \nTag Sale Weekend is April 27th \nEvents include live music\, craft fair\, carnival rides\, action zone with stunt riders\, wild animals\, jugglers\, Little Miss Daffodil\, Daffodils on Parade\, and 5K Daffodil Dash on Sunday. \nThere is NO PARKING available at the park during the Festival weekend but FREE parking with FREE shuttle bus service to the park is available. See the website for parking details. \nThanks to the incredible support of the local community\, admission\, parking\, shuttle bus service\, and entertainment across three stages are all free! While we hope for sunny skies\, we encourage everyone to come prepared for any weather conditions\, so don’t let a little rain dampen your spirits. Pack an umbrella and join the festivities! \nOne must-try food vendor at the festival is the Meriden Turner Society booth\, serving up delectable items such as Bratwurst\, Schnitzel\, Deep Fried Oreos\, Deep Fried Hot Dogs\, Ribbon Fries with Cheese\, and Funnel Cakes. \nPlease note that parking is not available at Hubbard Park during the festival. However\, there are five free parking areas in the surrounding areas\, as well as one free handicapped parking area (with a disability placard requirement). Each parking lot provides free shuttle bus service to the park\, so be sure to check out the Directions & Parking page for location information.
