SUMMARY:The Annual Lyman Orchards Blueberry Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Lyman Orchards Blueberry Festival will be held on Saturday\, July 20\, 2024 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Apple Barrel Farm Market. Bring the family over to Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market for a bushel of blueberry fun! This is a Free Family Event! \nStart the day out in the fields picking fresh blueberries\, then head over to the Apple Barrel Farm Market for live music\, Free Food Tastings at the Apple Barrel Farm Market\, Horse-Drawn Hayrides\, a Petting Farm\, Face Painting\, plus Santa will be on property for pictures with the kids!  Munch on a bunch of blueberry baked goods\, all baked fresh at our award-winning bakery! \nEat your way through the day starting with fresh roasted nuts\, Jeff’s Kettle Corn\, and there’s always a great lunch menu at the Apple Barrel Farm Market deli! Top off the day with a signature Lyman Orchards Creamery Blueberry Shortcake Sundae! We’ll even have a pie eating contest at 2pm!  5% of Apple Barrel Farm Market sales will go directly to the Salvation Army! \nSchedule of Events:\n\n10am – 3:30pm: Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides ($6 per person; $4 ages 4-12; free ages 3 & under)\n11am – 1pm: The Salvation Army Brass Ensemble Band*\n1pm – 4pm: Live Music from The Spanners*\nPick Your Own Blueberries\, South Street\nTouch a Firetruck with the Middlefield Fire Department*\nYard Games*\nHygiene Kit Assembly Station*\nThe Salvation Army Mascot\, Shieldy\, will be in attendance for photo ops!*\nFood Trucks\nKids & Adult Pie Eating Contest (first come\, first serve!)*\n\n*Free Activities! \nAvailable at the Apple Barrel Farm Market: \nBreakfast on the Patio\nFresh-picked Blueberries\nBlueberry Jam \nAdmission to the Lyman Orchards Blueberry Festival is FREE!
