DESCRIPTION:Join American Mural Project’s (AMP) master gardener-teaching artist Meredith Arcari Luciano for a fun-filled week of learning in the natural world at the Creative\, Nature-Based Day Camp in. Kids will design an installation using native plants in AMP’s pollinator pathway and nature playground. \n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nDATES: July 17–21\nTIMES: 8:30am–3pm\nAGES: 7–11\nCOST: $350/session \nTeaching Artist: Meredith Arcari Luciano \nExploratory\, hands-on projects include:\n– Building a birdhouse\,\n– Creating a mason bee hotel\, and\n– Making treats for birds \nPlus\, campers get to document these memories with a bookmaking workshop and to bring their sketches of insects\, flora\, and fauna home. They’ll also relax and practice mindfulness in the surroundings of AMP’s natural habitat and learn how to continue their discoveries in their own backyard.
