SUMMARY:Annual Westport Dog Festival at Winslow Park
DESCRIPTION:Are you a dog lover? Would you like your furry companion to be a part of all your recreational activities? Then we invite you to join us at the Westport Dog Festival\, taking place on May 19th from 10 am to 4 pm at Winslow Park  in Westport\, Conneccituct. This event is a fantastic opportunity to have a blast with your beloved pooch! \nFor a nominal fee of $10 per person or $30 for a family of four\, you can gain admission to the festival. Not only will you have a wonderful time\, but you’ll also be supporting various local non-profit organizations\, T.A.I.L.S\, and the Westport Police Canine Unit. \nCompetitions (register to compete here) \n10:30 Best Tail Wagger\n11:15 Best Trick\n12:00 Best Dressed\n12:45 Dog that Looks Most like Owner\n1:30 Best Singer/barker\n2:15 Best Kisser\n3:00 Best Lap Dog (over 50 lbs) \nDemonstrations & Presentations  (TBA \n11:15 Police K9 Presentation\n12:00 Guide Dogs – Fidelco\n1:00 Training your Dog\n2:00 Police K9 Presentation \nObstacle Course  (begins promptly at 10am until 4pm) \n$10 for two runs – buy tickets on site \nAt the festival\, your canine friend can participate in a variety of exciting competitions\, such as the Best Tail Wagger or Best Singer contests. You can also test your pooch’s skills on the agility/obstacle course. Additionally\, there will be captivating demonstrations by Police K9 units and much more to enjoy! \nCome and be a part of this joyous celebration dedicated to our four-legged companions.
