Enjoy the Annual New Haven Chalk Art Festival filled with art, music, and family entertainment on Sunday, October 22nd (originally scheduled for Saturday) from 12pm-4pm in the heart of downtown New Haven. Stroll the Chapel and Broadway districts to view and vote on elaborate fall-inspired chalk art designs made by roughly 65 professional and amateur artists at two locations — Broadway Island and the Yale University Art Gallery patio.

This event is free and open to the public, with free parking available at the 150 York Street Garage from 11am-6pm with a validation stamp at The Shops at Yale table during the event.

Kids can take part in the fun at the Family Fun Zone, located in the courtyard behind Apple, where they can hone their skills with free professional chalk art lessons. Music, two face painting stations and a strolling magician will add to the excitement.

Lunch specials will be available at Ay Arepa on Broadway Island and guests can enjoy live music from local jazz musicians at both locations during the event. New this year exclusive shopping and dining offers will be available at The Shops at Yale tables and will include special vouchers redeemable during the event, such as a $1.99 24oz smoothie, $1.99 pizza slice, $1.99 chicken teriyaki, 20% off at retailers and more!
