Prepare your bib and get ready to indulge in a delectable and mouthwatering barbecue experience at the annual Sun BBQ Fest, taking place at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th

Experience an exclusive Sun BBQ Fest tailgate event before the fireworks and electrifying performances by Country stars, Chase Bryant and Jon Langston on the main stage! Sip on cold brews, bubbly cocktails, and unlimited alcohol samples, while listening to Nick Bosse and The Northern Roots perform live on the main stage. A ticket to this event includes entry to Sun BBQ Fest and come and go access during the event.

A captivating fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:15pm on Saturday, June 15th. There is no rain date. In the case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be cancelled.

The Sun BBQ Fest is a celebration of the finest barbecue offerings, accompanied by an abundance of delicious food, refreshing cold beer, hand-crafted cocktails, and captivating live performances. Guests are invited to savor the full plate offerings from nationally acclaimed BBQ teams, explore delightful small bites in our “People’s Choice Competition,” or even take part in the annual Wing & Rib competition. Additionally, the festival showcases a World Food Championship sanctioned barbecue competition, adding an extra level of excitement. Don’t miss the breathtaking firework display on Saturday night or the grand award announcement on Sunday!

Please note that all food and drink purchases require Mohegan Sun food and beverage tickets, available for purchase at any cashier. An ATM will also be conveniently located within the winter bus lobby for your convenience.
